Gerald Burnett Bio
Gerald Burnett is the youngest of 5 children who were born and raised in
Dallas, Texas. His parents introduced him to music at a very young age.
As a result, Gerald developed a love for many different types of music.
He especially loves Acappella music. Gerald graduated from The Arts
Magnet High School where he studied vocal music. He has an Associate of
Arts Degree in Music from Southwestern Christian College and Bachelor of
Arts Degree in Vocal Music from Oklahoma Christian University. Gerald
just completed his first year of teaching Jr. High School Choir and he
plans to attend Graduate School in 2004. Gerald is a
songwriter/arranger, he does music transcription (music notation), which
he has presented at several music workshops. He is a voice/piano
instructor and he is a co-director of the adult chorus at the Mountain
View Church of Christ.
About the Project
The "It Was He" Project is a true Acappella Experience! It has several
different styles of music, (praise and worship, Christian salsa, Negro
spirituals, contemporary Christian, choral, classical, gospel and jazz)
but yet every song has the same message. The songs speak of Christ our
Lord being the only one we can depend on. |
