BIOGRAPHY:  Composed of Christians from New York, New Jersey and Texas, REDEEMED has talent and soul to the core.  With a broad repertoire consisting of everything from traditional gospels to contemporary spirituals, REDEEMED proves with every grace note and syncopation to be virtual chameleons on the stage, offering something for everyone, both young and old alike. The majority of REDEEMED�s selections are written or arranged by current and former members.  Compositions and arrangements from Brian Dickerson, Stephanie Keith Lytle, David Bowling, Therese Cotton, Cephise Burton Phillips, J.L. Spriggs, Terrance Talley and Veronica E. Williams make up more than 97% of REDEEMED�s energetic program.

Everywhere they step up to the mike REDEEMED brings audiences to their feet with heart-wrenching melodies and soul-stirring harmony. The group has been featured at the National Lectureship, SwCC Fundraisers, Song Fests and was a McDonalds Gospelfest finalist.  After selections from a REDEEMED recording aired on a notable Sunday norning radio show, REDEEMED was invited to tour Europe with the famed Harlem Spirituals. In 2000 REDEEMED received the Christian Acappella Music Award (CAMA) for Best Choral Group and was nominated for Best Album for its second recording, Exaltation.   

REDEEMED is constantly on the move taking their songs of inspiration to the multitudes. Most of its 14 members have a rich musical background in acappella music, having sung in gospel and classical choruses, ensembles and touring groups across the country and abroad.
